Was like 20 years ago so not sure how fast it actually was :)
i did this quest a few weeks ago, and it was pretty simple and straight forward.... i think i had more trouble getting the book than solving the quest itself... and you got an easy alignment, i had stuttering, i had to figure out which stutter i had by speaking to myself, and even then failed and poisoned myself a few times (and exploded a few times before that to figure out (beg)(base)(end))
i agree that the quest IS figuring out the notebook, if you make that easier, it's a tour quest....
and sorry Vlek, but if you think this is hard, ur in for a world of pain when you try the really big quests =) (or get killed/crushed by a magic gate, the room remains collapsed till it resets so you cant get ur stuff back, and all ur stuff is gone after the room resets (at least most of this quests are gentle enough to warn you of such posibilities))... you have not even scratched the tip of the iceberg....

Cheers....

Might also be the quest in Shire, where you search the rubble of an abandoned house and you haven't propped the ceiling.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

It collapsed on my head so many times that I finally figured out what this seemingly useless wooden beam was for :P

No quest solution

I had a friend that when he was a newbie was offered 300pc, I think it was, to go in there to search the place. He died I think.

I hope he deposited his coins before going in.
