Evils don't whine, they point at broken stuff and evilly demand its' repair. Goodies whine even though their guilds make them fart gold.

You are making an assumption here about who worships whom. While the rest of Kalad likely accepts Thanar because he argues for Human rule over Kalad and that is certainly something they want, it doesn't mean they necessarily believe or practice all the tenants.
