It has an inn that sells food, and a pub that sells alcohol.
If you want free food there's a farm nearby where you can pick carrots, radishes, potatoes etc for free, and fill your belly. And there's a river from which you can drink water, though from what I understand drinking water doesn't help you in any way.
And in the forest you can pick herbs, some of which has healing properties (rare), and some which are very good at restoring movement (common).
The alcohol you must pay for, though - no way to get that for free.
