Genesis Sites

Post by Tapakah » 12 Nov 2010 20:30

Dear Genesists,

I am trying to compile a list of useful links for our Website.

Which sites that contain maps, docs, catalogs, logs or other funny or useful info do you use?
Thanks,

T.

Fine maps there, but there were at least one spot missing in Kabal :)

Yeah, misses some parts of the world too, but in general good maps, and its a good example how maps on the home page should be.. You could add some land marks or something to make them more "real" but still how maps should be.

Here are the ones in my Genesis bookmarks folder:

Carpus' map site:
http://home.swipnet.se/~w-51024/p4.htm

Google translate of that polish site:
http://translate.google.com/translate?p ... l=pl&tl=en

Bildors site:
http://www.reocities.com/Area51/Vault/1131/

Drogyn's site:
http://www.isibrno.cz/~jakl/genesis/ind ... nesis.html

The previous Genesis forum:
http://www.genesismud.net/phpbb/

Pug's site:
http://akson.sgh.waw.pl/~jkalin/genesis.html

Through the Wayback machine, we can dig up sites like the Deproelius' Army of Angmar site, the Alliance of Elnoven, Iliana's site and others probably.

I've started on a site too:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~tomca/genesis/

It's got a few maps, with monster and eq listings, but only around Sparkle.
Mostly covering a bit more unusual areas of knowledge.
And it's still pretty fresh, so don't expect too much.

For those of you who don't know, there's an imbuement file on my site now, in case you wonder about the imbued items you find. The herb file feels pretty complete too, though still missing info on how well the different healing herbs work (it's on my todo list. Anyone with a good idea on how to compare mana herbs, I'd appreciate suggestions).
Just added a new file with easier lists of banks, shops, trainers, etc.
My files are still mostly limited to the Sparkle domain, I'm afraid, but I am expanding - got a bit of Shire too now.

And wanted to bump this... Any other interesting Genesis sites around apart from the ones mentioned sofar in this thread?

I LOVE the imbument file.
Thanks!

Its probably spoiler info, but idc just love to get this info I had been lacking and didn't get around to spending the time and plats on it myself.
Perhaps all who use it should just donate a few 1000 plats to you?
