Yes food would be a wonderful addition as well. An Inn to buy food, booze, and a place to sleep if need be.

SMITH!!!!

Someone who fixes armours and weapons like Bubba, not some unskilled smith.

Since all boats lead to sparkle I'd rather jump back to the hub, then run to calia.

Hell make Bubba relocate.

Another route would be actually make the Enchanter a master smith. He obviously knows about the qualities of armours and weapons and as such should easily be able to fix them as well at the same level as Bubba. No more no less.

I saw we start a new thread for sparkle and the enchanter and library can be easily found on the magic map.

Saying there is a Library and Enchanter is MUCH different than telling a truly new player that the NPCs actually have quests to be sought out.

Find me a truly new player who found the orbs on his own when no one is around in Sparkle to point them in the right direction in a decent amount of time. Its not hard to make a roaming NPC who makes comments like some boat captains about quests that are available.

Arasmus was a true newbie and used the orbs and map. They aren't too hard to find

If Sparkle is to truly be a HUB for the Donut it would benefit from things like roaming NPCs or a Town Crier that yells out things going on, like the kiosk is back, what quests are around, news.

The "town crier" concept is my next immediate project. There will be a few very small newbie quests in Sparkle that happen right after you exit the Tutorial. One of them will be to find the enchanter. ;-)
