That don't sound like much of a punishment then.

Yeah, it would be more of a punishment if it was death without recovery. Then people would be tiptoeing around the admins.

I assume you're talking about the punishments for combat-botting?
1st offense: Death, and destruction of items you are carrying.
2nd offense: Death, destruction, and one week suspension.
Beyond this: Suspension or deletion as needed (plus death, of course)
The death penalty is for 1:st time offenders, so I assume it's more like a warning - don't do it again. Most people would probably see death as a pretty serious warning.
If you repeat it you might get a deletion, which is probably worse even than a death without recovery. PLUS death. I assume the death penalty is enforced before the deletion.
And if you do it again after THAT, they'll kill you and delete you again. And that should be enough to discourage most people from combat-botting again. At least with that character.

Anyway. Thanks for clearing it out, Gorboth.

How on earth are you thinking?
You have very limited controls so it will most likely takes months before someone is discovered by you. By that time the damage is already done, they have botted for months/years and recovers in a week. There are a few examples in the game right now, people with extreme sizes and it could have been prevented.

Go go botters, obviously its your game.

Unbelievable to say the least....

Being a wizard is volunteer work and personally I would rather have them working on code to add stuff to the game rather then spend their little time chasing down botters.

I agree but if they get caught they should be punished severly not rewarded as the current system.
This takes the prize, I'm so fed up.

The punishment could be more severe I do agree.
