Don't need to know your sexual preferences Laurel...

Tints are +'s to spell skills.

I think I can speak for everyone... the brown tint probably makes up 80% of the imbues out there.

Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities. Truth isn't.

When I saw the thread subject, I was also hoping that the range of known imbuments would expand, perhaps to include odd and mixed blessing imbuments.

Honestly, I don't know how anyone can think the imbument system is complete without cocoon stones.
The preceding collection of words was presented by Strider's Player.
Any meaning you ascribe to them is most likely due to lucky happenstance or your misinterpretation.

If you'd prefer Strider's opinion, you'll probably have to ask for it in game.

I know how disappointment tends to be far more memorable than contentment, and often leads to perceptions of imbuements we hate appearing more often than imbuements we prefer or are indifferent toward. However, I did run the numbers for this army (so far) to see if frequency counts for the brown tint are higher than baseline.

I chose 7 other skill-based mods at random to compare against. The results, in the game as we speak:
  • earth magic skill: 5
  • axe skill: 5
  • sword skill: 4
  • defence skill: 6
  • parry skill: 7
  • awareness skill: 4
  • blind combat skill: 5
  • 2-handed combat skill: 7
Looks like a pretty acceptable distribution to me! :-)

p.s. Strider, cocoonstones have been in the game from day-1, but can only be found by the sort of people who name their characters Farton.
Mmmmmm ... pie ...

For some reason it keeps changing from Amberlee to Celephias for me. Is that intended?

I just hope Genesis imbuements won't change the game as runes did in Diablo 2 (Enigma anyone?).
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

I'd like to request we modify the cocoonstone to use something more menacing. Maybe morgul moths.

By this, do you mean the old Morgul Mage named Moth?

He'd feel so honored, I'm sure!

Is it just me or anyone else also noticed noticable increase in number
of useful - mainly damage dealing - imbuements?
