Impressive, I guess we can thank many people for this sucess though Cherek deserves some extra cred. Who will take care of all the silly names? I bolded some of the worst examples...

Silly names cluttering up our who lists are a price we should all be overjoyed to pay if it leads to the conversion of even a modest percentage of these new arrivals into lasting players. As Petros joked to me today, now we might all have to actually adjust to dealing with a bunch of chaotic true newbies blasting around our formerly predictable and drowsy game. Again - what a wonderful problem.

And, yes, Cherek deserves a lot of credit for the hard work he has put in this year. It is wizards like him deciding to really take on the projects that push the game forward that give us all motivation and drive. I'm eager to see where we go in 2015. The future is very bright!

p.s. Cotillion and I have a long-running bet to see which of us gets deleted by Mercade first for our insulting names.

This is obviously due to the extended call of the Black Master, and not the pesky wizards claiming credits for it. They can't even do a barely adequate effort in attracting new juicy souls to the realms.
