Questing removes death recovery?

I heard today that doing a quest (any quest?) while on death recovery will (or has in the past on occasion) raise brute to non-recovery levels - basically removing all death recovery and sacrificing stat-gains. I've never noticed this personally, but if true it seems unfair or buggy. I don't think we want to discourage people from questing just because they're on recovery. Can anyone confirm with their own experiences?

I'm currently on recovery and have completed at least five small quests over two logins. Both occasions gave "little progress" and had no influence on recovery brute what so ever.

Edit: typo

It is true that questing raise your brute, but the "sacrificing stats-gain" is false to my opinion. I have a feeling quests also give you general/combat - non-permanent - exp also, hench why your brute raised. I usually questing to shorten my recovery.

P.s: I have no proofs for what I said. Just my experiences in many other games.
