Re: Nice ... thiefs in sparkle
The point was not about thieves though. The point was that clicky happy people and total lack of lag, along with combat triggers and death recovery made PvP complete and utter waste of time.
Re: Nice ... thiefs in sparkle
Actually I havn't seen that particular thief online for 3 days already.
How inconsiderate of him, I have to carry ebony-bladed dagger with his name on it for 3 days straight in my backpack.

Ouchie! How did you pull it off without restart? Did you actually refresh the room when noone was in there?
Re: Nice ... thiefs in sparkle
Nah, I just pushed the idle players into the street and updated. I'm a bully.

Thanks Gorboth. is it possible that the General board room in sparkle becomes a non-stealing place as well? I hardly dare to write anything on the board, since someone try to steal from me the last time i wanted to write on it.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.

Prepare the note in the church and save it as an alias.gold bezie wrote:Is it possible that the General board room in sparkle becomes a non-stealing place as well? I hardly dare to write anything on the board, since someone tried to steal from me the last time I wanted to write on it.
I've not tested this, but it should allow you to write a note instantly. Or almost instantly.
Stand next to the board and use an alias like "autoNote" and let it write all the commands.
(I've had a brain fart.. I was going to give an example, but I can't remember the exact syntax for using a message board.. )

Nono. Thievery is not something we prevent in Genesis except in certain very special and select cases:gold bezie wrote:Thanks Gorboth. is it possible that the General board room in sparkle becomes a non-stealing place as well? - The church because it is the start zone for newbies, idlers, and such.
- The Auction House because of course.
- The Enchanter because of course of course.
