So every time I run from AA to bree with a quick alias it's botting?
It's scripting. Length of the script doesn't matter lol.

"In computer programming, a script is a program or sequence of instructions that is interpreted or carried out by another program"

Using terms properly makes me confused fella...mkay

Kvator is a purist and plays using the good old UNIX telnet connection, ergo is not a scripter. Shoo, you cheaters, shoo!

I guess you can feel high and mighty for never using aliases or triggers, but they were included in the webclient for a reason. They are not cheating. I suggest reading <help botting>.

Did I accuse anyone of cheating? I use scripts myself lol (and I am even aware of that!).

Of course I am not. I just find this sequence:

Person A: this event promoted botting and scripting
Person B: No it didn't!
Person A: Why?
Person B: Because I used 'quick-run aliases' instead!

pretty funny

If alias with bunch of directions is a script then we all are scripters, including you. If you don't understand what a script is in this game, well, fill in the gaps and get back to me when you know.

I'm with Kvator here. Just cause it takes less time to say gobble to all npcs in an area than killing them, does not really change the definition of how you accomplish that goal.

That however doesn't change the definition of what script is in Genesis, that just points out bad event design, aka spamming same NPCs with gobbles on hourly basis.
