Maybe we code one - you can only carry one at a time. If you want you can <throw paint> in a room with a tiny % chance of it hitting an invisible player and revealing them. If they do body-contact emotes that get noticed, it changes to 50% for 10 seconds or something.

Or how about make glimmerroot work like it should and reveal invis? :P
Because those who have stated previously that invisibility is not a concept that should be cheaply negated with a lazy simplistic concept like eating an herb are quite correct.

Invisibile harasser's worst enemy = a bucket of paint.

Maybe also code special, anti-invisibility pillows which you can throw at already paint splashed player, so he will be covered in feathers! ;)

Though, if the clothes, armours and the like On the caster are invisible in tandem with the caster, won't paint that sticks to him/her also be subject to the same effect? :D

A bucket of magical glitterdust on the other hand...

Okay, then make talking whilst invis have a chance to popp it, quite easy to pinpoint people babbling especially with decent awareness. Mebbe able to attack invis via stabbing out where the sound is comming from and thus breaking it. Quite logical

Then you'll whine that invisible people stalk you, or steal your loot. ;)

As for simpler methods, yeah, I'd say magical dust (just not as easy to get as current ones tho ;)) makes total sense.
Say you toss it and then everyone that is invis at that time in location (or within say 10-15 seconds) is "stickly" revealed for few minutes
(until wind blows dust from their body).

Obviously though that would require some kind of rebalance of all guilds that have invis and truesight.

Rebalance in what way? The guilds power stays the same, its external forces that has abilities to break it, or should morguls have reduced tax cause they are so easy to get resi for?

Sure, I'm all in for tax decrease or boost ;)

Anyway, like I said - magic dust looks like decent idea right as long as it can't be easily farmed right?
