Make Fireball great again!
The Official Genesis MUD Forums
Obviously it is different from other quests. I found it difficult to visualize how it would work, making it hard to learn the controls except (for me) by doing it. This isn't a complaint, just a comment. Had I been smaller when I found out about it (I learned of it only on here, when I was titan or champ), I would've given it a go and discovered whether it's actually as hard as it seems to me. Since I can't get qxp for it, I'm not really motivated to find out (also not a complaint - the donut has plenty of other stuff for me to happily busy myself with). If I could get the qxp, that would motivate me to learn it, and maybe discover that it is also funny or joyful or whatever. As things stand, it is a difficult-sounding game other people (maybe?) play.Cherek wrote: ↑12 Sep 2019 13:48I think it's one of the best and funniest quests we have. Complicated? Well, you can't really use a walkthrough on it, but far less complicated than many other quests if you were to do them without a walkthrough.sylphan wrote: ↑10 Sep 2019 12:50I keep forgetting about Fireball. A long time ago I looked at the directions and thought - well, I thought a curse word. Seemed pretty involved. Also, it's not on the quest orbs, is it? To get people to bother to learn it and then put together a team, you probably want them to know it exists and has some qxp waiting for them.
No, I think you misunderstood. Two of the four Fireball quests can't be completed if you have grown too big, but you can always do the other two regardless of size, and the quest XP rewards are quite nice. If I remember right you also get pretty nice general XP rewards for completing them again, and again, and again.
