How do I join the Discord for Genesis?

I am not sure why people keep posting invites that they generated themselves and didn't bother to select "do not expire" - as by default invites expire in 24 hours.

I haven't taken Discord 101 so I didn't know. You Discord experts should educate us noobs better!
