Options pvp on/off.

Good evening everyone,
So it's the big melee change day. Lots of things going live today. Lots of interesting things to test. And we all did.
A lot of it was fun. Nerfing ogres was sad, but I suppose they got too stronk. I hope ogres enjoyed the 2 hours of being gods.
Most of today has been a lot of fun. But seeing that damage outpost has been doubled, certain problematic areas have also arisen. People can now kill each other very very fast. A group of myths can basically delete anyone in a matter of seconds. Even if you are looking straight at your screen, you can die before you really get to do anything. And with an ogre stomp or similar it's a guaranteed death. Which is not fun. Wizords slow, you die. There are so many ways to kill people, and some players may not be here for the pvp. They may be pve oriented.
I know, someone will point out that if you opt out of pvp, people can steal loot and call you names. Well, people are already doing that, and if they are huge players, you can't do anything about it. With this option, they could still steal your loot, but at least you would not get killed if you asked them nicely to return it.
While pvp could be optional globally, I strongly support the notion of "enforced pvp areas". Places like war plains on Krynn and the Holm in Sybarus should always be pvp for anyone daring to enter.
So, for 30 days I have a poll below, should pvp be optional - Yes // No // Only enforced in certain areas.
I am not part of the admin, I am just curious about what Genesis as a whole thinks of this. I am part of several discussion groups, but just hearing people echo your thoughts is not very health. I much prefer more people adding in their opinion.
