I agree to 100%,however seeing that Yanus must wait for 25 minutes.....

Maybe there is a way to shorten the time you need to wait, like making the maximum time 5 minutes,no matter how many herbs you carry.
Maybe you could recover 5-10 items each time instead of just one.
Just a thought...

I guess thats only a problem, because he has decided to make a competition with the price of 1000 herbs.

Without that one, I doubt that he would have that many herbs.

I think its fine that it takes time.
It then keeps people from gathering these enormous amounts of herbs, since people rarely need that many.

I guess all the magic guilds have shops where they can buy and sell at favourable prices, so no big reason to keep them all on you there.

Imagine if some guilds didn't have herb shops.
They would spend the whole Arma recovering.

If they didn't, it was probably because they were not so much relying on herbs. And therefore they didn't need a shop for it.

For most of us, herbs is an advantage. Gives us the extra edge to do what we do.
Spellcasters are useless without herbs, as they would need a ton of time between each hard kill, before they could attack anything again.

Which I guess is why they have shops, and the rest of us don't. Same as with the higher herbalism skill.

couldnt that be done to herbs..? You recover many herbs :)

Poor Yanus.. 25 mins.. Ouch!!
We would love to have this. It would, unfortunately break a lot of things in the game. We are still working towards it, but let's just say that efforts to fix this issue started quite a few years ago. Every time, it ends with the same conclusion - if we fix herbs, we break a lot of the game. That's one reason herb wraps were removed. It ended up breaking quite a few things. So our strategy right now is to fix the rest of the game that would break, and then fix herbs. And if Yanus is waiting 25 minutes to recover herbs... umm.. share some of your herbs with others. :D That's a lot of herbs.

I am.

I think I won't reveal too much info by saying that Adriel already made her choice. So expect the announcement soon. :)

But I doubt my recovery time will be shortened significantly... :(

Actually... there's much more important problem. That you loose your herbs when you either go LD during recovering (you can't recover herbs while being cast into the void - I learned this hard way - once I recovered only one third of my herbs), or by quitting (which accidentally happened to me - two or three weeks ago :( ).

Well... I can survive. However If I could pay for fast recovering I'd gladly do so. But what about smaller ones? It's very hard to find a proper herb, area and places where such herb grows. And loosing your herbs at lower levels could be much more painful than lars at that level (with decent/good RP and proper pack you can recover in no-time).
