I was attending an event in AltSpaceVR ( http://www.altvr.com ) and thought I'd give playing Genesis in virtual reality a try. Sure enough, it worked!

It's funny to me because it's one of the oldest multiplayer games being played inside one of the newest multiplayer games.

You can even play it in a virtual IMAX theater, sharing the view with other people in the room. I tried to take pictures at different distances from the avatar so you can get an idea of the scale of the screen:
I was using an Oculus Rift DK2. Thanks for building the web client to make this possible! Geek dream fulfilled.

I used Virtual Desktop with my Oculus DK2 to play Genesis yesterday. Very interesting indeed.

Yeah, Virtual Desktop is actually a very cool program. That would be the best way to play it in VR for now, I'd think. Later it should be more integrated into Windows 10.

That is truly incredible. I might have to pony up for one of those Rifts.
