You are physically very hurt and mentally in full vigour.
The sharp-fanged brown-maned wolf is feeling very well.
The grouchy yellow-tusked orc is feeling very well.

ch
You attack the grouchy yellow-tusked orc.

You prepare to execute the lethal attack.

The forest suddenly falls silent.
The effects are wearing off.
You brutally pummel the grouchy yellow-tusked orc's body with your black heavy battleaxe.
The grouchy yellow-tusked orc died.
You killed the grouchy yellow-tusked orc.

Now that's a solid crit, even the forest holds its breath :)

Smallfred waves happily.
The white robed hooded female elf panics and flees west.

Fear the waving!

Fear the waving!

Maybe it's not just that he was waving, but what he held in his hand that he waved with? :)

You study the thin spindly broom carefully.
A broom with a full swatch of bristles at the bottom that looks suspiciously more like something a witch might ride upon than one used to clean a home. Hmmmm.
You determine that the weight is 65 grams and you appraise its volume is about 65 milliliters. You estimate its worth to 9 copper coins. The thin spindly broom seems to be able to last a while. It rejects being sold as it is keep protected.
> ride broom
Seriously? Who are you? Harry Potter? You have no idea how to ride this thing.

hah! I got one of these, and for a female character, it asks "Who are you? Hermione Granger?"

I added the Harry/Hermione messages when it was a Scavenger Hunt items some years ago. Added it to the lottery this year and figured it would make someone who tried to ride it smile a little. Glad it worked.:)

The evil priest says: You look like a good candidate. Are you a virgin?

I dont think any virgin would be that stupid to say yes, when an evil priest would ask
