If you say that some people like to roleplay a subordinate and
someone like to roleplay a superior, then what is stopping
people from doing that, even if they are only the 2nd in
command of a guild?
If people like that sort of roleplay, they can and will do it.
What I feel that you imply, but do not mention, is that you
want to empower a few players with the power to force the rest
into whatever they fancy, regardless of whether the latter
enjoy what the leader have in mind. But if they do not obey,
they will be thrown out and thus cannot enjoy the game as
they would like to. Mainly because the game is not much fun
without any skills at all, and because a guild defines your
role. So if you have no guild, you essentially have no role
to play, thus few if any likes playing Genesis guildless.

I do not understand why you wish to empower a few players to
force the rest, instead of letting peoples wish to play
subordinate/superior come out naturally. If you say that they
already want to do that, then it should happen no matter what.

Also, I don't accept the notion that if one member does not
roleplay, then the game is ruined for everyone. It has been
since the dawn of this game, that there have been players in
exclusive guilds that did not roleplay much, if any. The
game still exists and people still get enjoyment out of
roleplaying in exclusive and non-exclusive guilds.

I am really glad that we have an administration now that seems
to actually want to make this game appealing, and I am happy
that we can discuss things like these, instead of getting the
old cold shoulder from the strict "Shut up or leave" policy
that seemed to be in place.
But I still do not think that you have given any realy
arguements for why excluding people is a must for this game.

So if you have time in your busy schedule, I'd be very
interested in hearing more of your thoughts on this matter.
