We are more like a Miniscule-MO with 20-50 players logged in at any given
time. I don't even have superior layman in math so I could be wrong, but
distributed across the 17 OCC guilds, I'd say we are stretched pretty thin.

Consider this: if council members are MIA for ____ amount of time, how about
a purge to make room for new blood? If we want new people to play the game
(and we do, don't we?), how discouraging would it be to hear: "good luck
joining that guild! Hardly any members play, and you need at least three
letters of rec. to get in. Oh, and there's no active council." As a newbie,
at best my response is *join Mercs*, and at worst it's more like: "this
game must be lame!" and I go back to grinding for lewtz in WoW.

But of course Genesis is not a lame game. It just needs a little tweaking
in some places, and this is one of them.
