Idea for change of Death

This game is very much based on grinding. It is actually the only thing that is
actively encouraged. You grind to get big and if you die or leave a guild you
grind to recover. You change your guild you die some times and grind yourself
back and you have more guild xp than members from 10 years back.
Everything is about grinding. If you don't like grinding then you are f**ked.
It will take you years to reach the same level as a grinder do in a few months.
It will take you months and even years to recover from a death it takes a
grinder a week or two. And you will never be as big as a grinder meaning a
grinder could kill you on a whim which means you need several more months just
to recover.

Death recovery has actually helped grinders more than none grinders. The
grinders that change guilds just kill themself several times and reaches the
highest possible guild xp. 10 links in blademaster in a month for example.


I suggest we change the death system so it affects everyone equal. I think that
it should be time based and not xp based. And instead of loosing xp you  get a
crippling wound that weakens you and that needs time to heal. Time that is
based on your size. A myth need 3 months to recover and take away one week for
each mortal level smaller. Yes, I know, myths will think it is outrageous, that
3 months is way too much and I say that it takes me usually more to fully
recover. But the time is up to wizards.

This means that grinders and non grinders will be equally weakened for the same
amount of time and that you don't gain anything on killing yourself which is
btw insane that you can gain anything on killing yourself.
