Rhynox - your latest note has a lot of interesting perspective in
it, but I can't help but feel a note of despair in it.
The Ogres are overpowered hoarders of items with no roleplay
sensibilities, powerplaying player-killers run rampant
across the continents, the Dragonarmies corruptly promote their
youths for the sake of powerplay, true roleplayers are
effectively and summarily neglected, the restoration of
powers to guilds for the sake of balancing is too little,
too late, and there's no one around to appreciate these
changes anyway. Maybe I'm just reading that all wrong,
but damn, man, you don't seem happy! And yet, you're still
here...
Clearly I run in different circles than you, because I find
this world a pretty enjoyable place to spend time. And
hopefully the changes being made to the guilds and the realms
at large will have the effect of bringing people back.
Maybe we can even entice a new batch of adventurers.
And maybe - just maybe - they will value role-play like you...
