Like level caps, as in World of Warcraft?

I think the main problem is that statistics are not as
balanced as needed. Dexterity continues to be the most
important statistics in combat, even though nowadays
strength also counts for damage (but there is no damage
if you cannot hit your opponent). Discipline usage is
extremely limited, especially since the limitation for
leaders based on it was removed. I think I would have
stopped giving experience to it once I hit epic, which
is enough to attack any beast in Genesis today or in
the next couple of years.

However, I think there should be a limitation in how
large the lowest-highest statistics gap should be. For
example, having a character that has supreme physical
statistics but lower than epic mental ones should not
be possible, or allowed with penalties applied (since
you need intelligence in order to use your muscles, and
you need dexterity to make the right spellcasting
movements). Ogres are always a special case, but I am
not sure how the model would not work (since ogres just
attack missing most of their hits until they land a few
enough to down their opponent).

And there would be problems for characters that have
been in a fighting or magical guild for long and want
to try something different: since they have been so
focused in an area, they will never fit their new life
(whereas nowadays the gap is not as large as it could
be).

Just an opinion,
