The magic map appears automatically if the browser window is big enough. Tablets usually aren't wide enough for it to show up unfortunately.

I agree it would be nice if it could show up on tablets, but I am not sure if there is something we can do about that. Cotillion, is the web client expert, though. Perhaps he would know if you sent him a message or in-game mail.
