New Website is Live!

Donut Dwellers,

I am so pleased today to finally be able to unveil the fully refurbished
Official Genesis Website. It has been a long road to this moment, and the
number of people who have been a part of the process has grown to quite
a healthy list now. They are detailed in the posts prior to this one.

But enough talk ... go check it out!

Also, from the PLAY NOW option on the web, you can try out our new
"Official" game client. It does not offer many features yet, but is more
attractive and friendly than the fmud interface that we have been providing
for the last year or so.

Some of you will immediately notice that some much-used features of the
old site are missing (rankings, for example.) This is true! Some of these
types of features require a handshake with the actual game, and are still
in the process of being perfected for use in the new web environment. As
we get those features working, they will return to the site, so don't
despair if you don't see something you really used to like using - it will
return once we get it set up!

The goal right now is for us to use the site, check it out, see if it
has any major cracks in it, and get it patched up as needed before we
go out next week and actually promote the game. Even without promotion,
we'll probably get a few more hits than usual for this or that reason, but
the big push has not yet started. That will be next week!

Exciting stuff! Please do feel free to mail me with anything you notice
or simply your reactions to how it all works for you. (also try it on
other systems, like your iphones, etc. I'd love to know how it works.)

I don't like that its a lot wider than my screen.

I don't run my explorer in a full window, so i need to actually scroll to the right for it to show it all.
Even if the contents doesn't actually take up more space than the width of my screen.

Given that you didn't provide any context of what you were trying to access, no I did not. I was trying to guess what you were actually looking for from the vague information provided.

However, I concur, when attempting to view previous weeks rankings, an error is returned instead.
