Army Eats Imbuements??

Hello all,

I don't know what is going on lately. First that strange card game between
Death and Lars, and now this? I found Armageddon passed out in the alleyway
behind the Admin Lounge this morning. I've never seen him drinking before,
so this was a very strange sight. But to say that the guy was extremely
obliviated would be a huge understatement! Well, we finally sobered him up
and he rather sheepishly admitted to having an all-night bender. Turns out
imbuements get him drunk, and he'd gotten into the global supply when he
paid a visit to the donut last time.

Well, THAT explains things! We've enrolled him in a treatment center for
imbuement addiction and trust that we can expect better behavior from him
the next time he comes to clean up the realms. How embarrasing for him ...

Oh, and if you aren't sure what I'm referring to, it seems that basically
every imbuement failed to recover after Army this last time. Because it was
such a massive issue, there isn't going to be a way I can help you get these
items or stones spent recovered - I just don't have the time to make that
happen. I really am sorry for this, and I can only imagine how frustrating
it is for those of you who spent stones or money.

The best I can do is to guarantee that the Admin are going to be looking into
what caused this to make sure it doesn't happen again. In the meanwhile, I've
spoken to Karkadelt, the Enchanter in Sparkle. I called in a huge favor with
him and he has agreed that until Army comes again, he will reduce his normal
1000 platinum price to bestow a random imbuement to just 1 platinum coin. I
figure this is at least some form of reparation that can be applied across
the board for all players to enjoy. You still only get one per week, but who
can argue with a 999-plat discount!

p.s. If you suddenly got the urge to create a bunch of alts to abuse this
gift, think again. All movements of stones and imbuements are logged, and
if I discover that you have abused it I will offer the contents of your
lapidarium to Armageddon! (at the very LEAST)

Thumbs up? For what? that system f...ed up again and they will do nothing with this, only promise it wont happen again. f..ck yeah, how great.
I spent few days to get crystal and couple weeks to get stones and all for nothing, screw it!!!

Actually, I don't remember such fails in last recent year.
So, Irk, give them a credit. What would you expect? recover all items?

Zar it is not first time, especially on AH, where it happens almost each arma, imbue items change to nullstones. Yes, in the past, when imbue system broke, they restored items.

Yes, I've restored items in the past when something broke in this or that part of the imbuement system. I've never had to deal with the system collapsing entirely and all imbuements being wiped out. When something near to this happened once before, Lavellan was on-hand to help, and he restored quite a few items for people. That was over a year ago, and we no longer have Lavellan with us (he, who designed the way imbuements are tracked and stored in memory.)

So ... Irk, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not going to restore just your items and not restore everyone elses. I don't have time to restore everyone's so I'm not going to restore anyones. It isn't fun, it isn't happy, but it *IS* fair.

Not sure what you mean here. You are still limited to one per week, not endless 1 plat imbues. It is exactly like before, but the price is 1 instead of 1000 plats. Or, did I misunderstand you?
