New position - Liege of Promotion!

Esteemed Fellow Genesis Enthusiasts,

It is my distinct pleasure today to share with you news that we have
taken a major step forward in the direction of progress for building
the playerbase. Our own wizard Cherek, long languishing in the pits of
RL consternation, has emerged once again, and has rolled up his sleeves
with new purpose. Cherek has extensive experience and knowledge about
web marketing, you see. Our community has always been filled with talented
individuals, but we've been waiting for someone with these skills to
step up to the plate for quite some time.

So, it is with a sense of gratitude that I have handed Cherek the keys
to our marketing vehicle, and made him a Liege of the Wiz Domain. This
domain is where we keep all of the content in the game dealing with our
presence on the web, and all of the various foul majicks required to keep
such portals open and visible.

Lord Cherek will, henceforth, be managing all aspects related to our
presence on the web, and he feels confident that this can lead to very
VERY good things. Given that we've spent the last 10 years getting the
game itself ready for this, I can think of nothing more fitting for our
25th Anniversary than to have this be the year where Genesis can truly
"emerge" to the many people in the world who are hungry for our sort of
game.

So ... a welcome and many blessings to Lord Cherek, Liege of Promotion,
and the excellent work he has already begun in getting our game out
there for the masses. Prepare, ye, for the influx of the newbie hoarde!

This is a great idea and I expect Cherek will do a tremendous job, even if the promotion is laced with MM hatred!

Just wanted to voice my support for the commitment shown by Cherek and looking very much forward to the results that a continued and engaged marketing campaign can yield.

I have always believed that a major reason for the issues that Genesis struggle with stem from the lack of inflow and retaining of new players. If we can turn that around... *hums brave new World*
