So, there I was taking my morning exercize down in the pits of Moria, and
on my stroll, I happened to pass the Balrog. Whoa now! I was nearly blinded
by the light reflecting off the mithril on his finger. He grinned evilly
(of course) at the expression on my face, and we had a brief chat. He
wouldn't tell me where he got it, but he was all braggy about the "exotic"
nature of the thing. Yeah, yeah, I said ... three imbuements, and useful
ones at that. Blah blah blah. I can't stand bragging. Of course he had to
point out, too, that it was glowing and that Army wouldn't get it from him
any time soon. By that time, I'd had enough, and continued on my way.
So, anyway, there it is. Suffice it to say, I won't be disappointed if I
see a team of adventurers from our fine community give him a bit of a lesson
in humility. That ring, in my opinion, would look less annoying on a less
braggy finger.
Go get him!

Thats the spirit!
Genesis needs more cool trinkets from hard enemies.
It would be really cool if he alway had some exotic item with "random" imbuements but always good ones so there would always a reason to kill him(it?) and at the same time it would give a bit of randomness to the fight. What if he would be wearing a intense healing, strong str and dex item? That would be a real challenge but worth the risk.

His ring is definitely the sort of thing people will desire. Your guess to the specific imbuements is not exactly right, but not far from reality.

Gorboth -- Is this a one time thing that Balrog has a cool ring? Or is this going to be an ongoing thing?
If something I wrote sounds confusing ... assume you misunderstood it.

It is just a one-time thing. If people respond well to it, who knows?

Noooooo!
The Balrog needs some kind of treasure and trinkets are much needed in Genesis.

Obviously, I agree. It just hasn't been made standard yet. Let's see if this gets people teamed and going after it.

yo
what about an idea about biiiig monsters emerging once in a while (what will be announced in some fancy way) having this kind of trinkets (powerful rings, necklaces etc) which will last with player until he give it away/die - would be a funny addition and another reason for PK
