Turkeys in the World!

Esteemed Turkey-Caregivers,

I've just returned from a very high-spirited feast at the turkey farm. They
had thrown a banquet to celebrate what seems to have emerged as something
of a "passover" tradition among our bird friends. I guess this is the first
time in a very long while that they feel they have been truly delivered,
whatever that might mean.

Anyway, table-talk kept wandering back to two main topics. Firstly, the
birds are sick of hiding, and want to see the world. Specifically, they
kept gobbling with that gleam of wanderlust in their eyes whenever the
farmers would bring up the word <safari>. Evidently, these birds want to
meet their fellow beasts, and do so in style.

Secondly, the birds kept boasting! So many of them have gotten big, healthy,
and strong, that it seems they've got a bit of the schoolyard strut going,
and are keen to test their prowess against one another. The farmers looked
both amused and mildly concerned about this, but said they figured a good
<turkeybattle> now and then probably won't do any *real* harm. I guess
we'll have to find out. Evidently, if a turkey wins enough battles, the
boost to its ego really REALLY improves its health!

Oh, it looks like the turkeys are a bit more forthcoming about their health
now, too. Just looking at them, you can see how far they have come in
terms of their rating. The farmers feel this will really help the caregivers
know how well they are doing, and I am sure they are right.

Well, it's a lot to chew on. While it has been fascinating to know that the
realm is filled with people tucked away in private corners, stroking their
turkey for hours on end (... erm ... *cough* ... yes), I suppose it will be
even more fascinating to see caregivers trotting their birds out for some
scenery and the occasional challenge. To sum it all up:

    - Turkeys can go on safari. Each time will raise their health.

    - Turkeys can battle eachother for a match:
           * First to win three times takes the match.
           * Each match won will raise your turkey's health.
           * A loss will not hurt them.
           * Win 20 matches for a big health bonus (one time only.)

    - When you <exa> your turkey, you will now see its health rating.

In addition, we'll be handing out titles and prizes for top performers in
the safari and battle efforts, so don't miss out!

Have fun! There are still 8 days left!
G.

p.s. Please mail Gorboth immediately with any bugs/issues you notice.

so I did both (safari + battle), ant here's my question:
making these give some kind of qxp (there is no information that I feel more experienced here)? or just improve health-score for turkeys?

The event is already giving out qxp via the regular love you give your turkeys. Safaris and battles are for people who want to compete to win the event, and only raise the health of your turkey.

there should be a command to "disappoint" turkey as far as safari goes
fir say -5 points there are a few options there like yeti for example

it might be a bit tough for some people to go see a creature that only appears one place in the realms that auto attacks and doesnt allow you to flee. even a dragon would be an easier target as people can summon faerie dragons.

edit
nemi took me to get yeti. Its just yeti seems out of scale with the other safari options cause its a unique boss monster
where most the other ones are relitivly common easy to get to beasts or critters though i hear bobcat is also giving people issues. having an i give up on this safari then have your turkey mopey for a bit would add an element for if people really feel the safari is impossible.
* Win 20 matches for a big health bonus (one time only.)
How will this be possible if we can only match once gainst eachother?

I do want to comment this event has been increadibly social and very cool so far.
everyone has been so social and helpful. and the battles have been fun.
other than the difficulty in finding some of the "animals" This event is a win.

yes getting 20 should be difficult considering i think ive seen about 12-16 or so people actually battling
the rest are just idling or not bothering with event at all since they have no chance of winning (in thier opinion) they still stroke for qexp. perhapse if battles abd safaris gave combat/general exp they might risk it.

Fight 40 opponents. There are around 60 awake all the time.

unfortunately it isnt 1:1 win loose, in my so far statistic, i should fight 70 battles to win 20.

yeti is very easy, just do it very fast, he isnt attacking on sight.
