Rules for the 12th Genesis All Hallows Eve Scavenger Hunt

The scavenger hunt lasts 2 weeks,  from noon on Saturday 29 October,  until
noon on  Saturday 12 November  (Genesis-time).  Items submitted  before or
after this time slot will not count toward the hunt result.

The objective is to collect as many different items from the scavenger hunt
list as  you can find.  Not all items can be  reached by  every individual.
Trading is permitted. Note that several items were newly created and hidden
in the world solely for the scavenger hunt. Exploring thus may pay off. The
list will  be revealed when the scavenger hunt starts.  It can be listed at
the pumpkins in the common board rooms.

Scavengers may work individually AND in teams. Teams are to register at the
pumpkins in the common board rooms. This may be done at any time during the
hunt.  To form a group,  the group leader has to go to  one of the pumpkins
near the common boards,  and do "group invite <person>". The invited person
can then accept this invitation with "group join <groupname>".  Please note
that when you have joined a group,  it is NOT possible to leave it again to
switch to another group. Maximum group size is 4 persons.

There will be two types of group prizes:
- for the group(s) that find the most items on average per group member.
- for the group(s) that find the highest no. of different items amongst the
  members.

Items count toward the team total, as well as toward the individual's total.
So you can be in a team AND in the individual contest at the same time.

Only one of each item will count towards your individual score.  Submitting
more than one specimen will not increase any score.

Items must be  brought to the pumpkin receptacles at the common boards,  so
that items turned in  are credited to the right team and person.  Note that
the pumpkins are not trash cans, so do not indiscriminately dump items that
do not match the description. A person who overflows the pumpkin on purpose
may be penalized.

The individual contestants  will be rated according to their size,  meaning
that  there will  be prizes for several  categories of mortal sizes.  There
will also be a reward for unique items (items only found by one individual).

The costume shop  in the Mvsevm of Events  will be open for  business while
the scavenger hunt lasts. Don't forget to dress up!

For your convenience:
  "help scavenger_event" will give this text at any time.
  "help scavenger_list" will give you the list of items.

DISCLAIMER:

On a donut as large as this one,  it is practically impossible to make 100%
sure that the description of one item upon casual inspection is not exactly
the same as the description of some other item elsewhere.

Thus it may happen on occasion (but rarely) that you find what you think is
the right item, but when you try to submit it,  it doesn't get accepted. In
that case  somewhere else in the realm  there is another item  with exactly
the same name  that is actually  meant to  be submitted.  OR... you haven't
looked all that carefully and you found a grAy mouse instead of a grEy one.

The AoE office is quite certain that  the list does not contain typos,  but
we  do not  take responsibility  for an  occasional item  existing with the
exact same name.

cool discovery I've made while running after items (actually never used mercy before and for scavenger it's a must i guess :) )

here's how combo of mercy and battack looks like:

You execute Wind Drives Stone at xxx!
xxx stares in stunned silence at the fatal wound left by the flash of
your blade.
As xxxr hovers on the verge of death, you strike forward with your golden-
hued claymore. xxx's head rolls backwards off his neck in response, which
hits the ground a moment before the rest of his body.
You have knocked xxx out cold.
xxx drops a silver ring and a white sleeveless tunic.

You take a white sleeveless tunic.

A human head and a silver ring.
xxx is unconscious.
