I call bullshit on your argument Gorboth. When Bonk got attacked and killed *while* fighting DA troops in war areas, he called it griefing. When Bonk gets attacked during a Calia war, he calls it griefing. If those instances are griefing, we might aswell just ban pvp alltogether.

Bello!

@Jooli
First instance: Me dunno about that so me will not back Bonk's butt in it!

Second instance: By repeatedly hunting Bonk, if he auto-move behind our tank you will roleplay it out and attacking our tank too, render us a bunch of disability kenders sitting in guild because no tanks want to team with us due to BDAs aggresiveness... It is like few days ago when one of our tank willing to team with us again and you know what happened next... Do that again and again and again and it will become griefing as a Calian.

@Mersereau
You are correct. He always can leave guild, but how much you sure he will not getting attacks again? You don't need reasons to kill someone... I see a lot of reasons that may result in Bonk will get attacks again. Following what Bonk's thinking, peoples chasing him no matter how much he try to avoid it. Now leave guild is easy, what if that is the guild you like to play and you having fun while playing that guild?

@Gorboth
Me read about some projects of Gorboth! One of that have something to do with PvP Arena with 800 rooms where peoples can killing each other without penalty, just for the sake of have fun in PvP! Is the project still on? To my minds that place can solve a lot of issue with PvP currently!

It wont solve anything, if you made the entire game non-pvp we'd have alot more bots and thats it, also alot more people running their mouth even more since there is no risk behind it at all.

The best way to avoid it is to either stay away from people that frequent pvp. Or to avoid guilds that at involved.

Since Gorboth has expressed no thoughts on restricting it in any way, I doubt it will happen the way you think it will.

Oh no it is not!
You get me wrong Draugor... rather me did not gave ya enough infos! *blush*

The current PvP system where ya can be dead and lose equipments will remains the same for instances you want to thief equipments or punish someone like ya said but the PvP Arena will be added too so peoples have a place to said "I'm bored!" without making others feels bad and personally I will participate in such place also... purely for fun!

The mainproblem is this.

Alot of people who do pvp and so on do it cause of griefing. A pvp area is no griefing

So..you support griefing, Draugor?

Side note. If the point of the PvP system is to grief people and griefing people is totally fine. Why is griefing against the rules? If the reverse is true, grifing is against the rules, then the PvP system is flawed. Either way something needs to be changed or the rules need to be redefined.

Griefing is against the rules.

Any player is specifically targeting others in order to ruin their game play is in violation of these rules. While PvP is permitted and being targeted when at war with another guild is fine, repeated targeting of the same player over a short period of time or with the express desire to ruin the joy of playing the game is not.

Please behave reasonably people. If you are only playing to ruin the game for others, I'd prefer you not play.

An easy solution would be for players to send a mail OOC saying, "Hey, this isn't fun; could you please take a break from killing me?"
Then, if they kept killing them, report it to the administration for investigation.
Players should be able to work out their differences without having to involve a Wizard.
It's like two kids fighting on the playground. Ridiculous.

Not exactly sure how you could get that from what I wrote but okay :P

I'm stating a fact, they are griefing, its what they do. If they dont have a reason, they create one, or just do it anyways. A pvp area will hold no interest to them since they do it cause of posts like this and the ones Snedecor are doing :P

I dont support it, I understand it from their point of view, I also get where some of you are comming from alltho the rules are what they are. And you're all triggering them, oh god how you trigger them to do more :P
