Code: Select all

There has been an adjustment made to spell effects
for very large players. The scaling has been adjusted
to better match other combat specials where the limit
already existed.

Other combat specials?
You mean fatigue is now drained from very large players as fast as mana is for spellcasters?
If not that, you just nerfed spellcasters.

And hooray... goblin fighters win again.

I play a fighter character, but this nerf seems like a huge drawback for spellcasters. They will be left like sitting ducks to be easily Pkilled.

I can't imagine being unable to use my special, because I get too tired. Then again maybe fighters should be nerfed this way to even things out?

I remember when Rockfriends opened.
Rockfriends had a nice feature that allowed them to drink more alcohol than the other races.
It worked like this
.
. .
. . . . .
. . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Like a corona virus.
The bigger you were, the more booze you could drink, and it was not linear, but exponentially.
With big, it was CON that was in focus.
The biggest dwarf, Fireforge, had pumped CON a lot.
Back then you could when meditating focus both focuses on one stat.
So FF was HUGE when it came to CON.
So he could drink a HUGE amout of alcohol.
And I mean a HUGE amount.
Back then also CON gave a LOT more hp than today, so fights lasted a lot longer.
Still, those players that were considered big, were not big compared to Bebop who outgrew all.
(There were a few more, but Bebop was one of the biggest and unbeatable in combat.)
But there was a duel in the Gladiator arena between Fireforge and Bebop and the impossible happened.
Fireforge stood up against Bebop. And he was lousy Gladiator with a crappy axe (No axe was good those days) vs the biggest player there was with top notch eq.

The effect this had was that Rockfriends were nerfed into almost nothing. At least when it came to alcoholdrinking. Today they drink a bit more, but this I think is worth not much.

Did we wine? Yes, Buhu buhu. Noooo. This is unfaiiiiir. Buhu buhu. How can we now fight the others buhu buhu.

Is this a true story you may ask yourself?
It is. Almost every word and letter is true.

Back in the old days players wined a lot.
