The changes continue!

Code: Select all

Greetings Folks,

We have made some changes to combat, this will manifest itself as
if you are dealing and receiving a little less damage. This is to
partly counter the remarkable speed at which players and NPCs die.

We have also made it so that evades and stoneskins scale with stats,
much like specials do. This effect is still in its infancy and will
be subject to change. I felt it was worth testing as players may be
experiencing difficulties during these trying times.

Aside from this, we have changed so that the 'too tired' drain now
is based on your maximum amount of health. This will help the newbies
in the game, who were suffering from heavy health drains, but will
also be a noticeable effect for larger players from now on.

We have finally made our first change to the caster system, one of
many to come. We have altered how the resist affects your damage.
This will hopefully be noticed as you are out and about.

These changes require that we reboot the game, I hope you are
enjoying your time. Stay safe, and stay tuned for more to come!

Best regards,
Carnak

So far the changes, especially to the way shields work, seem to be a vast improvement!

Are any casters able to objectively comment on the changes post-armageddon?

Hi! I will! At first I was tanking way too well, given a bit of time everything seems be alright now, I'm actually taking damage! But I can still hold my own, I'm more curious to see how other fighters will react to see if this was fair or not.

There are a *lot* of guilds involved. I am not sure how to report things in terms of keeping the veil of mystery on guilds.
