just finished...

A Man Called Ove by Fredrick Backman

not sci-fi or fantasy .. just a really good book.
funny, heart warming, emotional ... quick read ... and i'm assuming the original Swedish version is even better as often things are lost in translation.
If something I wrote sounds confusing ... assume you misunderstood it.

Haven't read it, but the film was a big hit over here in Sweden.

Unfortunately I have to stop reading for pleasure and find a way to stay awake through CCIE Routing and Switch v5.0 Volume 1.

When/If I manage to finish that and its sequel, I think I would like to read Armada by Ernest Cline. I enjoyed Ready Player One, it brought back a lot of memories.

Just finished rereading "The Book of Lost Things" a while back. Great read if one likes faerie tales.

It brings back memories! Like ... like ... like using tape recorders to load your games into memory using a cassette!

Unfortunately, not the only one. I remember that too, and thinking the 5 1/4" floppy drive was a real breakthrough.
