That one dude had a huge chin.
Once that other guy goes through puberty the band is hosed!

They are talented, to be sure. The arranging, especially, takes massive skill and creativity. Alas, we have no idea if they are capable of ever sounding half this good in reality thanks to the "miracle" of autotune. I'll tip my hat to their singing chops if I hear them live sound even remotely as well-tuned up as this. The studio changes everything, and now with electronic correction of pitch, it doesn't even require that you be very good to sound VERY good.
Example ... here's a live performance of one of the most iconic harmony bands of all time, singing perhaps their most well-known song. This is what music sounds like when there is no auto-correction: a bit pitchy even by the masters of the trade (in the prime of their youth).

And what if a band sounds better live than in studio?gorboth wrote:They are talented, to be sure. The arranging, especially, takes massive skill and creativity. These guys won a TV show called The Sing-Off ... they're actually this good. The guy who "hasn't gone through puberty" is easily in his 20's (as are all of them).
