D3 Rise of the Necromancers

Post by Tarax the Terrible » 06 Jul 2017 18:39

Playing Diablo 3 again since the necromancer patch thing came out.
D3 always fun to come back to.
And necros are V Nicely overpowered at the minute.

The pet build set was fun, watching all your minions tear around the map killing everything like even faster versions of the witch doctors fetishes.

But the bone armour set plus a few new legendaries and it is instant god mode.
1 day in with pretty non optimized gear (no ancient set legendarys) was soloing greater rifts as high as I ever had before with unbalanced static charge monk (Dont really like demon hunter play style.) But doing it with ease and no fishing for good rifts.
Easy to find that build as its all over the top of the leaderboards.

Found a very fun speed farming alternative, http://www.diablofans.com/builds/90801- ... -build-2-6 its nutty. Like whirlwind barb speed mixed with old ulianas ep monk ease of blowing up screens if you have the dmg for the lvl.

Now this is a teaser. But really not.
I did not play D3 since a month or two after it came out. An extreme disappointment compared to D2 which was great.

In D2 the thrill was to solo ÜberTristram with a necromancer.
THAT was my biggest kick in the game.

Yeah! On my vacation week I've spent long stretches of time riding in the car thinking about the Genesis version I've been coding for a few years now.

Gotta get this baby done!!!

= Nerfed it into the ground lol
Dam wizards!!!

I knew something was up when entered greater rift 65 which I was had been speed running in 3 minutes and nearly died without killing anything.

Was fun while it lasted.
