than yourself
and making your best to end the battle victorious. That's what we do, both in
game and
in real life. Afterall, if you emerge victorious from fight, it's YOU who
proved
stronger, haven't you?

In movie Fight Club Tyrell Durden gave assignments to his followers and one of
them
was to start a fist fight with someone and then loose it. Loose it on purpose.
Although such experience might teach us something, it would most likely end up
with
few teeth lost, your teeth.
Returning to fantasy theme, you cannot expect merciful behaviour from fierce
goblin,
whose life's only sense is warfare, conquer. Uruk Hai spared hobbits' lives in
Two Towers
not because their hearts were pure or filled with pity, but because they were
demanded
to by their Master.
On the other side, Legolas said: "Aim at their neck", not "at their kneecap".

The war is terrible, it costs lives, it makes the world burn. You may not like
it, I agree.
But if you choose a side, you get involved. There are plenty of room for
neutrality in Donut.
Dagarim Aran is roleplay idea, you say. Maybe. Yet by raising a standard before
your
enemy gates, you push your luck and enter the war, you should know it.

Talking about mercy idea, I personally think it should be reserved for knights
as it is
now. The idea needs to be connected somehow to roleplay and there is no way I
can imagine
professional warrior (Calian, Angmarim, Dragonarmy Soldier, Gladiator, Ranger)
to stay
their hand in the midst of fight with bitter enemy just to let him go.

Would you, robbed or attacked on the street, stay your hand before hitting your
opponent?
Maybe Gandhi would, but not someone *normal* and by normal I mean only
*average* guy.

This character (Zabijaka) was devised purely for playerfighting and I took many
lives
myself, taking the risk of being hunted, scried, hated, being rejected by
community.
Even the name signified my purpose. Instead of being wasted three times a week,

I NEVER was killed in playerfight, although I was hunted around by large
forces.
It's only the matter of style, that you Beregond/Someone lack.
I would hate to loose my prestige and repute of notorious killer by using mercy
or not being allowed to fight smaller players than me. Suicidal pvp (picking
fights with someone stronger and loosing it) is, as always, good fo sissies.
