Imbuements II

Post by Uther » 12 Apr 2011 18:54

Greetings fellow people of these realms.

I am looking for imbuements as well. Ogrestones (musk) and Balmstones (feeling
of security emanates).

I will pay:

Faint
30 Platinum

Pronounced
75 platinum

Intense
100 platinum.

I am also willing to trade other stones since I gather quite many. If you get
an ogrestone or balmstone of any kind please contact me via mail and we will
discuss.

Thanks.

Uther

You do realise, right, that if someone finds an item with a faint smell of musk, he will have to pay 25 pc for a nullstone in order to make an ogrestone to sell to you for 30 pc. Which will give him a total gain of 5 pc.
By just disenchanting the item, he will get 5 pc from Krakadelt, without going through the extra trouble.

Agreed. Personally I wouldn't sell a faint that is "sought after" for less then 50, a pronounced for less then 150, and a intense for less then 250.

3 cracked = 1 Blemished, then yadayada.

Yes, better just trade.
I trade for all damage property imbues and the two that make weapon better. (heal and speed also interesting but all want those)
I will buy ordinary stones for 2-600 platinum depending on what type.
Can buy lesser ones too but will not give good coins, I prefer trade.

Thank you :P

Straag... would love some amp, asp, or gall stones if you have any.

Aren't gallstones something people pay to have surgically removed?!

The imbuement system is random right?
So is it possible that a npc could spawn with slay their race on a piece of equipment and therefore not be able to use it?

Anyone seen this?

I've been told that "useless" combinations are checked for, so eg there shouldn't exist a shield with bonus in 2H combat. But whether that slay thingie is actually checked towards the initial wielder, I don't know. Sounds like something that very possibly could be missed. Never found a piece like that myself, but will keep a look out for it (and apparently Uther just found a peculiar spear with faint +light and faint +darkness, so the checks are not perfect).

Hee hee!!

We actually kept the light/dark spear possible because we thought it was just too funny not to allow. ;-)
