Hello,
If you are referring to the Gardeners change, the update
was posted on the forums by Zhar, a couple of hours before
it was even mentioned on Discord as far as I can see. Nor
do I see any wizards making any sort of announcements on
Discord, so I am not really sure what you are referring to?
If there is something else you are worried about, and
that you think I have missed, you are welcome to contact me.
I agree that Discord should not be the main way we inform
mortals about any changes to the game, and to my knowledge it
isn't used that way either.
I have no idea what you have heard or from where, but very
few wizards even use Discord. However, those of us who do
will, if we are there, try to answer direct questions from
players. Just like we do in the game, on the forums, and
on our Facebook page. Now, if some of you think, after reading
Creed's note, that Discord is the place to be to get important
information from wizards, that's not the case at all.
This is how we usually share information:
- Important news all mortals should know about are posted
on the COMMON BOARD. Notes there are also automatically
posted on the forums.
- Other news that all mortals should know about, but aren't
important enough to warrant a common board post, are usually
posted on the SPARKLE GENERAL BOARD. Notes there are also
automatically posted on the forums.
- Less important news, that aren't critical for everyone to
know, tend to be shared on the forums primarily.
The Facebook group and the Discord chat are sometimes used
to spread something we've already posted elsewhere, but
neither is used as the main form of communication.
