Celebrate the Source!

Just prior to Armageddon you will see some changes in Avenir, particularly
in the Utterdark. I've spent the past couple of weeks trying to fix some
of the mapping and alignment problems with the various levels. Level 2
will have a magic map, and I have added to or updated most of the other maps.
Be aware that some exits have changed, especially the up and down exits for
Level 3 (where the imps are) and Level 4. Expect to find things somewhat
different down there, with some tunnels moved and perhaps some more denizens
of the deep, too.


I've also moved some of the more dangerous creatures on Level 1 off the
beaten path so that smaller players can find their way to Maivia for quests
and the Hobgoblins for exp-ing without being attacked by cave drakes and the
like.

Please bug report any issues you notice with exits or maps and I will get to
them promptly.

Going forward, I will continue making similar updates to Avenir. Much has
changed over the years and I am aiming to make things more consistent
internally in Avenir as well as with the rest of Genesis. There will likely
be some more changes to the Bazaar Island as I phase in the Sybarus Village
with its Merchantile and Temple areas.

I appreciate your patience with any errors I may make in my efforts to
bring you more content.
