Quest Updates

Based on reports from players I started fixing a few quests that did not work like they should. Mirandus has also volunteered to help out with this, so since we're now twice as many working on it, we might actually get somewhere!:)

I will use this thread to list quests that have been updated. So, people who's been stuck on them now know they can be attempted again. And hopefully be solved.

Kalad - "Trader Quest", "Bounty Quest", "Holy Quest"

The quest orbs for "Trader Quest", "Bounty Quest" and "Holy Quest" in Kalad had been mixed up, causing players to think they had not solved quests that they actually had solved. These quests have now correct hints, so if you had trouble with any of these quests, check the hint again, it should now make more sense.

Kalad - "Sheik Quest"

At some point in this quest you're required to kill a chest. Yes, a chest. Anyway, this chest was almost never found, and more often than not only found once each armageddon cycle. From now on, the chest should reset when the room resets, making this quest much more solvable.

Krynn - "Free Draconian"

This quest had an issue with a door automatically closing before the draconian you're supposed to free manages to follow you and escape. This is now fixed, so freeing this poor drac should now be easier.

Tutorial - "Journal"

There was an issue reading all tutorial signs and copying them to your journal. Not exactly a bug, but in each of the three shops, "read sign" would mean you would read the shop's own sign, and not the tutorial sign. However since the sign you read was similar to a tutorial sign, many would (understandably) assume they had read the correct sign, but it would never be copied to their journal and marked as "read" making the quest seem bugged and unsolvable. Thanks to Mercade, "read sign" now reads the correct tutorial sign. And if you want to, you can instead "read instructions" to read the common instructions for using shops.

Fixed. Now goblin will tell you when you reach maximum number of torches

Ansalon - "Ferret Quest"

This quest had a number of issues with syntax, being able to be completed only once per arma, and some other weird things happening as well. This quest has been updated so those issues should now be fixed.

Krynn - Gnome Explosive Device

Mirandus fixed an issue that would happen if you tried to "insert" a quest component and also had a piercing on your body where you also can "insert" jewellery. That messed the syntax up. Something that was very hard to foresee as a problem for the wizard who made the quest originally I take it, the quest is otherwise well designed, so just bad luck there. Should be okay now!

Avenir - Dark Elf's Task #2

It did not show in the quest orb as completed even though you had completed it. Now it does. The problem was only with the orb, not the quest itself, so everyone who has completed it does not have to worry about the XP. You all got it, and it now shows up in the orbs as well.

Fixed a small syntax issue so it's more logical now.
