A brand new Easter event is coming, but I am trying to figure out when the best time to start it is.

Starting it Friday before Easter means people can play during the weekend, however perhaps people have less time than usual to play during Easter?

Starting it Tuesday after Easter means people are usually back at work or in schools (in some places anyway), and it'll be like running the event during a normal week.

Hard to decide for those of us using the Julian calendar for our Easter...

forgive me, I forget how long it ran last year. I remember picking up my reward in .... September?

I'd prefer to have the weekend to work.

This is a completely new event and not the same as the Eggshard event from last year. I was not AoE then so I don't remember how long that one lasted I fear, probably a week or two as usual I would guess. I dealt out the rewards when I took over as AoE since the previous one went missing due to RL stuff. That's why the rewards took longer than usual.

This event has no set end time. It ends 24 hours after the first player finishes the event. Should nobody finish it, the maximum time is two weeks, but in theory someone could finish it within hours (Which I doubt!) However, that's why I feel the starting day is especially important, so as many people as possible has the chance to be there when it begins.
