Not only can it be, but it absolutely was.

If you say so.

> imbue trident
You present your golden trident for imbuement.
There is a powerful flash of magic!
Karkadelt presents you with the peculiar golden trident and says: May it serve
you well.

> ins trident
It glistens with a pronounced acid sheen.
You notice a faint purple gleam playing off its surface.

Where has Balrog and his ring had gone?

I really have no idea what point you're trying to make here, Syrk. Looks like you got a nice lucky roll with your trident and got a peculiar rather than unusual result. Congrats.

As for the Balrog's ring - Armageddon claimed it and now won't stop showing it off whenever he's in the wizard's lounge. It is almost worse than when the Balrog had it.

Oh, heh. Sorry, then. I thought you were arguing in favor of some sort of theory that imbuement rolls have changed. They haven't.

Sorry for suspecting otherwise, but my statistics the last few weeks speaks to the contrary. I know this might be the very definition of random, but not so many months ago I got so many imbues I had to make "disenchant-stops" in sparkle between grinds. Now I'm lucky if I get a single imbue. Am I just seriously unlucky? Like, cursed?

Well, back in February of 2016, nine months ago, there was a change to the way imbuements are distributed, yes. I can't imagine you are talking about that, though? That change was posted on the Common Board by myself, and I figured the game has adjusted by now to that change.

Also, moving this to a new thread.

No, this was in july/august. Given, the grinds i visit have changed somewhat since then. Are there areas that have significantly higher "drop rate" than others?

The other day I saw the largest list of people using imbuements I'd ever seen. Seems like with the new ability to <convert> stones you don't need with your lapidarium, that things are back in useful territory for people. Is that not the case?
