Let me add the first row to your calculations.

3 cracked stones of _ANY_ kind = 1 cracked stone of the kind you want
3 cracked you want (9 cracked of _ANY_ kind) = 1 blemished
3 blemished you want (27 cracked of _ANY_ kind) = 1 ordinary = faint imbue
