There's been lots of griping about the rareness of magical items, in some cases hundreds of kills without the enemy having his noteworthy item.

This past armageddon the hot topic was the rareness of sturdy armours in Raumdor, and the death knight no longer always spawning with the sturdy bracers.

This armageddon, it seems we have a new target! Urian's caster-guard no longer spawns with his usual robe.

What's going on, wizards, and why the silence on it?

Any magical item which is good should have limits set, we will correct missed ones as we find them.

I've reported the leaf-green ioun stones (twice) and dark grimoires to Arman, can we get those fixed too? Leaf-green ioun stones aren't on the new EQ timer, and dark grimoires never break due to wear-and-tear.

Does anyone else think we've gone a bit too far with the sturdy black armours? They used to be too common, I agree. But what are they now, so rare as to be mythical? Seems a bit much.

I think the changes are great.
Will force everyone to spend a bit more time on gathering good stuff, if they want to have good stuff.
If they don't want to spend that time, get a better team and do without.
It isn't impossible, it just takes more effort.
And if you can't find your, so far, preferred item.. go find alternatives.

I can buy that reasoning but please remove the randomness in quality if you make it this rare. It should be top notch if you manage to find one.

I'm all for making magic armours more rare. But I'd do that by limiting the amount that can exist at once. For example, x bracers per arma

What positive difference will it make if there is a set amount of X item, that will appear at any random time...
Compared to each spawn having a decreasing possibility to have said item, with increased numbers of them?

The first version will always result in fewer items available.
