Have had some conversations with Britanica through IM ...
one of the concerns I expressed with the proposal was the potential amount of spam one would have in order to create the minor aura effect through performing different songs. Curious what other people think about this? And if anyone had any suggestions on possible alternatives while utilizing the same/similar RP concept to trigger the minor auras.

I like these ideas!
Titles need a complete rework though.

Re: Minstrel Recode
I have just joined the minstrels and i already love it. Cant wait what the re-code will bring us. Think i saw britanica at work there *grin*
just one minor suggestion: i want to speak normal again.... this wining, laughing, twittering etc talking is no good for roleplaying. and i seriously wonder if it doesnt give bugs with quests like for example the barrows quest.
it has no good use for the minstrels its just irritating haha.
Can this be changed in the re-code or is there another way for me to talk normal again without leaving the minstrels?

Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.
Re: Minstrel Recode
There is a way you can set it so you talk normally...
with <set help>
you can set the following:
mood (this is what you are looking for)
bells ( whether you hear the bells when minstrels wake up)
dais ( whether you hear people speaking from the minstreal guild dais)
ballads (whether you hear ballads from fellow minstrels who are distant from you)
under mood .. you want to set it to normal so you don't speak differently.
so... <set mood neutral>

Re: Minstrel Recode
There is currently no recode of the Minstrels going on. Britanica had very interesting plans but has not been around much lately and it's been many months since I spoke to him I fear. Last I heard from him he had a lot iRL. Minstrels will probably remain as they are for the foreseeable future, and should Britanica return to take up the project again I am sure he will let you know.Draugor wrote:Is this still beeing done?
