You are still able to turn evil as a Calian, go to AA, promise to join and enter the guild halls far enough to screw people blocking them from rack access. Use an evil ogre for stomping and let the slaughter of unequipped Angmarims begin. Noone stopping you there.

Yeah I know.. But whats a cow to do ?

Can or should they be changed so Only AA can enter.?

make an auto system, so if you apply to the army it happenes
at the gates, then the gatemaster would send the current
officers in angmar note that says Mr x has applied. And then
you, as an officer/recruiter could send an invitation, to Mr x
and then allow him through the gates by informing the gate
guard, Allow entry to Mr x.

then Mr x could come and join.

something like that.. with a twist.

And die a horrible death because you can't use your specials as an evil Calian... Been there, done that.
Time is precious. Waste it wisely.

It's completely ok, with me (referring to the issue), maybe a more twisted and deadly path towards the gate would solve the "problems". Also a cave or two along the mountain wall, with goblin occupants welcoming the guests would make a nice addition too.

: )

I think the whole promise thing is a bit retarded in the first place since the joining procedure is based on player interaction. Sure you promise to join, allowed in and then what? no one is arround, you gonna be stuck there until someone with the ability to vouch eventually -maybe- shows up?

Angmarians are not renowned for being the smartest troops.
The promise thing is a sample of what you can expect from them.
As for being attacked after breaking promise, it is a lesson
how Angmarians treat traitors.

What do you expect from an evil guild? To give a free tour,
pat on head and a club as a suvenir?

Yes, if you are small you can even die. But death is not fatal
in genesis and the whole thing gives a bit of thrill.

Sometimes it is not easy to contact a recruiter...
Well, that is an internal Angmarian issue. The guild is quite
lively with many active members.

The Witchking of Angmar is a ruthless ruler, not only does he demand his
loyal warriors to give their lives for his cause but also to possess and
endlessly improve traits, of cunning mind and iron will. Those who follow
his command and the path of old, are bestowed gifts that make them
invulnerable to destruction!

To pass the gates of Angmar is to enter into the dark, the unknown,
to become either one of the mighty warriors or cower back in shame and flee.

I agree with this, I would expect nothing less... however!

That is what I think the issue is, some smallfry find the guild, excited and wants to join
PROMISES to join only to be stuck in the guild (Or risk leaving and potentially dying) having
no-one to vouch for him/her. And that's not because there is no-one around to do it, its
because people is unattentive at best. Why not let people just sign up and then find someone
that can vouch for them to mayhap use the racks, get promoted, whatever?
