I seem to recall seeing items forged by members of the smiths guild, that were hardened and even blackened or something.
Does anyone know if it is still possible to do such a thing to items one forges, and how to do it?

You can blacken items in the forge, or plate them in silver, gold etc

I remember reading about coating in the smiths help. It's somewhere in there.

Sheesh, I noticed it now. Info on forging is listed right below the line break, which made me miss it.Ody wrote:I remember reading about coating in the smiths help. It's somewhere in there.
Thank you for pointing me in that direction.
