Smartphone/Tablet usage of web client

Heyo.
I tried playing on my tabby this morning and it wasn't really super. The main issue is that after sending a command, the command remains in the text box - as it should - but it's not highlighted; so when I start to type again it gets appended to the end of whatever is already there instead of replacing it. I mentioned it in noob chat and someone else said that they have the same issue on their Windows Phone. I was using Android Firefox.
Maybe adding a checkbox in the client (perhaps in the unused 'General' page of 'Settings') to turn on/off the text retention behavior could help with this, although it would be ideal if it could just behave the same as it does on desktop.
