Request: Player Identification

Post by Melarec » 11 Apr 2016 19:07

This may have been addressed before..
I would like to know if someone is a player or an NPC..
One simple line of text is all that's needed.
For NPCs: "They look like they belong here." (or something along those lines)
For Players: "They look particularly lively." (Possibly just have this line and nothing for NPCs)

The line would display upon <exa [whoever]>
I don't know.. Maybe it breaks the game, but I wouldn't want to slay a player by accident..

You cannot attack player by accident. "!" is needed.
So :
kill human
will not attack player untill
kill human!

It was meant as a joke.
My concern is the easy differentiation of players from non-players.

As a Hobbit who mostly hangs out around Middle Earth it is great to be mistaken for an NPC. Some of my best memories of this game have come from such events. Many of these times have been absolutely hilarious.
